DART works with organizations, including Relay Iowa (Hamilton Relay) to provide Telecommunications Device for the Deaf (TDD) services for riders. DART dispatch and customer service staff members reach out to Relay Iowa for a variety of telecommunications services including teletypewriter (TTY), Voice Carry Over (VCO), Hearing Carry Over (HCO), Speech-to-Speech (STS), Visually Assisted Speech-to-Speech (VA STS), Spanish and CapTel®.
