Winter weather and extreme cold temperatures could impact DART services

Winter weather including snow, wintry mix and extremely cold temperatures could cause delays on Wednesday, Feb. 12 and Thursday, Feb. 13. 

Plan ahead for winter weather and extremely cold temperatures

Winter weather including snow and wintry mix will likely for DART buses on Wednesday, Feb. 12, especially during and after the evening commute. In addition, temperatures will drastically drop Wednesday, staying dangerously low through Thursday, Feb. 13. Riders should be aware that winter weather may cause delays to DART's services. We encourage you to use one of several technology tools and resources to track buses in real-time, limiting the amount of time you will spend outdoors waiting for your bus.

  • MyDART text: DART riders can receive real-time arrival data for their bus stops through our text message service. To receive estimated times for your stop, text DART and your stop ID number (Example: DART1234) to 515515. Bus stop numbers can be found on the stops, and on the MyDART Trip Planner.
  • MyDART Trip Planner: DART riders can plan trips and track real-time bus arrival times for their stops through the MyDART Trip Planner. This planner is available online, or through the MyDART mobile app, available for both Android and iOS devices.
  • DART Customer Service: You can reach DART Customer Service by calling 515-283-8100. Customer service phone lines are staffed on weekends between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
