Masks still required at DART Central Station and on DART buses

Posted on May, 14 2021

On Thursday, May 13, 2021, the CDC announced most people who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 no longer need to wear masks in outdoor or indoor settings. However, the TSA is still requiring masks be worn while using public transit.

Because of this, DART will still require riders and staff to wear masks on DART buses, and both indoors and outdoors at DART Central Station. Masks will continue to be provided on DART buses and inside the DART Central Station lobby for riders who need them.

Currently, the TSA mask mandate is scheduled to continue into September 2021. Should this mandate either end sooner, or be extended later, we will let riders know by updating this webpage, sending emails to our route lists and sharing information on our social media accounts.
