2013 Service Proposal
DART will be holding a series of six meetings to provide riders with the opportunity to view and provide feedback on proposed service changes. The proposal includes adding night service on two east-side Des Moines routes, expanding night service for all routes later into the evenings, and expanding hours of operation on weekends. These changes are part of the “Year 2” recommendations from the DART Forward 2035 Service Plan, a plan for expanding and improving service throughout Greater Des Moines.
Each session will include a presentation on the service recommendations taking effect in 2013. This will be followed by a group question-and-answer session, and time to talk with staff members individually.
