Riders can request rides between Grimes and portions of Ankeny near Mercy North and businesses along Delaware Avenue or West Des Moines near Valley West Mall. The shuttle will take you from your home to a bus stop or other destination located in the On Call zone.

If you leave a voicemail requesting a trip, a Customer Service representative will return your call as soon as possible. DART Customer Service phone lines are staffed from 6 a.m. – 7 p.m. on weekdays and from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. on weekends.
Please be aware that while DART will try to accommodate your trip needs, there could be periods of high demand where you may be asked if you are willing to travel at a slightly different time, or by a less-direct route to your destination.
DART will review all requests and assign a scheduled pick-up time for your trip. Please be aware that vehicle arrival time could vary by as much as 30 minutes. Once a DART vehicle arrives, the drivers will wait a maximum of five minutes for riders to board, so plan accordingly.
If you must cancel or change your scheduled On Call shuttle trip, please call DART Customer Service during service hours, at least one hour (60 minutes) before your scheduled pick-up time. If you do not do this, a no-show will be recorded for your trip. Riders with more than four no-shows in a calendar month could be suspended from use of DART’s On Call service.
