Starting at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 24, real-time bus information on all DART routes will not be available for several hours. The system used to provide real-time information will be under maintenance for an upgrade which will require the real-time information to be shut off while they work. Real-time data will be back up and running by Saturday night.

The City of Des Moines and DART are providing free public transportation to attendees of the Des Moines Civil and Human Rights Symposium on Wednesday, Mar. 14 at Des Moines University.
DART was notified in January 2018 that it was the recipient of a grant through the Iowa Clean Air Attainment Program that will be used to create a new crosstown route that travels east and west on Euclid/Douglas between Merle Hay Mall and E 42nd Street. As DART works on planning this route, we want to hear from our riders about how they might use this service.
DART is currently evaluating service on Local Routes 1, 4 and 10 to see if they need to be changed to better serve our riders. Because of this, DART is currently collecting surveys from our riders to decide if changes are necessary.
Beginning on Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018, DART will provide two daily bus trips twice a week on Tuesday and Thursdays between the Deer Ridge Apartment Complex on SW 63rd St and Creston Avenue in Des Moines to the Walmart in Windsor Heights.
