The Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting quotes from qualified vendors to bid 6–passenger mini-vans with up to a quantity of 20, in accordance with the specifications listed in the bid. The equipment supplied shall be based on a standard model, customized as necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the specification.
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS - Passenger Information Signs
The Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting sealed proposals for passenger information signs. The agency’s goals for this project are to (i) replace the six existing passenger information kiosks on the platform at DART Central Station; (ii) install a new Content Management System to manage all of DART’s electronic signage; (iii) integrate the six existing passenger information signs inside DART Central Station into the new Content Management System; (iv) if budget allows, replace the fifteen existing overhead arrival and departure signs above each boarding platform at DART Central Station; and (v) if budget allows add passenger information signs to selected high-volume bus stop and shelter locations.
This addendum contains an updated schedule which extends the question and answers to questions by one day to move beyond the Presidents' Day holiday and extends the date proposals are due by one week.
