DART is partnering with Heart of Iowa Regional Transit Agency (HIRTA) to expand access to vanpooling services for commuters in Boone, Dallas, Jasper, Madison, Marion, Story and Warren Counties via DART’s RideShare program.
DART is providing free rides to the public to cooling centers in Polk County on Wednesday, July 17 through Saturday, July 20, 2019.
DART Buses will be required to detour due to road construction. Effective: July 21, 2019 until roadway reopens.
Avoid traffic and the search for parking at the Fair - ride DART instead. Free parking is available at three, convenient locations and buses drop off at Fair entrances.

The hours of DART's free-to-ride D-Line will be extended to approx.11 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2019, to take you to and from the Des Moines Symphony's Yankee Doodle Pops concert. Park anywhere near the route and ride DART the rest of the way. The D-Line arrives at stops approximately every 10 minutes.
DART will not have service on Thursday, July 4, 2019.
