DART Operator Cesar Chavez represented DART well at the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) International Bus Roadeo event in Louisville, KY. Chavez placed 25th overall out of approximately 78 operators.
Cesar was chosen to represent DART, and the state of Iowa, when he won first place in both the DART Roadeo in May 2018, and later the Iowa Public Transportation Association (IPTA) State Roadeo in June 2018.
He is the first large bus operator in several years who was selected to compete in the international event. We want to thank Cesar for representing both DART and the state of Iowa so well at the 2019 APTA Roadeo. Congratulations Cesar!
