How to get to the Downtown Farmers' Market

Now through October, the Downtown D-Line will start Saturday service at 7 a.m. for the Downtown Farmers' Market. Park your vehicle anywhere along the route, hop on the bus and we'll drop you off near the Market's entrance.

Local Route 10 - East University

Service operates between DART Central Station, the Broadlawns Clinic on East University and Pleasant Hill.

Connections: Local Route 1 and Local Route 4 at East 14th and East 15th Streets. Local Route 17 at University and Hubbell Avenues. All Express Routes and the D-Line Shuttle on Grand Avenue and Locust Street in downtown Des Moines. All Local and Crosstown Routes at DART Central Station.

Public art takes to the streets on public transit

Public art is taking to the streets of Greater Des Moines in a new initiative that wraps artists’ one-of-a-kind designs on public transit buses. The Greater Des Moines Public Art Foundation Project Spaces initiative, in partnership with the Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority (DART), will unveil the new public art initiative at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 20, 2014, at The Hub Spot Plaza on The Principal Riverwalk at Court Avenue and Water Street.
