DART Commission Chair Russ Trimble shares details on several initiatives the DART Commission is working on throughout the year.

DART is making some adjustments to several of its Local and Express Routes on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2020.

DART rider stories allow us the opportunity to highlight transit users' experience with DART. We take a look into their bus-riding habits and gain insight into their opinion on the importance of public transit.

The Iowa Democratic Party and Iowa GOP partnered with DART to offer free rides after 4 p.m. on Caucus night. This includes rides on DART Fixed Routes and free rides to and from Caucus sites on Paratransit.

Ride DART Local, Express and On Call services for FREE on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2019. Polls in Polk County will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., but DART will offer free rides all day long.

DART will donate three retired RideShare vans to nonprofit organizations, community groups or government agencies within DART’s service area this fall. Applications are due November 22.

Flex Connect is a new on-demand service DART is testing that connects riders in the Flex Connect zone to DART buses.

To thank our riders and celebrate DART’s major service change effective Sunday, Oct. 13, 2019, DART will be offering free rides on all Local, Express and On Call services Oct. 13-19.
