DART is embarking on an investment study to possibly bring bus-rapid transit to Des Moines. You are invited to come learn more about the project and provide input on possible alternatives, station locations, and other elements for the new Route 60 loop (on University and Ingersoll Avenues between 42nd Street and downtown).

Beginning Sunday, August 21, 2011, the following changes will be implemented to better serve DART customers.

The public is invited to meetings to review DART Forward 2035 Recommendations. A proposed new transit system for Greater Des Moines – in the form of the DART Forward 2035 Recommendations – will be released for public review at a series of meetings the week of July 18th.

DART is upgrading to a new email management system to better serve you. If you currently receive emails from DART and wish to continue receive emails, you will need to sign up for DART’s new email service by clicking on Email Updates.

Beginning Sunday, June 12, 2011, the following changes will be implemented to better serve DART customers.

Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino has awarded a Community Betterment Grant for $10,000 to the Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority to underwrite DART’s Opportunity Thru Transit program.
