DART is partnering with Heart of Iowa Regional Transit Agency (HIRTA) to expand access to vanpooling services for commuters in Boone, Dallas, Jasper, Madison, Marion, Story and Warren Counties via DART’s RideShare program.

DART will not have service on Thursday, July 4, 2019.

DART Operator Cesar Chavez placed in the top 25 of all competitors at American Public Transportation Association International Bus Roadeo in Louisville, KY.

The Greater Des Moines Public Art Foundation, DART and local performing artists, including hip-hop artist MarKaus Ashworth partnered to unveil the ninth art bus at DART Central Station on Wednesday, March 13.

DART is upgrading its finance software systems this week and has learned it will impact the EZPay system RideShare riders use for paying monthly fares.

Major improvements are now visible at one of DART’s busiest bus stops at Walmart in Windsor Heights. DART, City of Windsor Heights, Walmart and Colby Interests worked together to serve riders.
